Here’s a quick vlog of our animals. I’m really having fun with vlogging. It’s awfully strange seeing yourself from a different perspective….it’s giving me a more well-rounded view of myself and I’m seeing lots of room for improvement! Please leave comments if you like, it would be nice to have some kind of feedback

I am not a huge animal-lover, but that dog sure looked like a decent guy with personality.

Yes, it really is strange to see yourself from different perspectives, and in a way I am still not used to it myself despite having done this for a year and a half now.. What I mostly notice is that I create this persona for my on-screen appearance. I highlight certain aspects of myself while I hide others. I definitely seem more crazy on camera than in real - it becomes like an abstraction of myself, or how I view myself. I am the guy in the white coat in this video by Chris Weagel, for instance. Would I have acted that way if it was not recorded? Never - I would have been much more quiet, and spent more time just listening to others.

Have you noticed that too? That you somehow change your personality when the camera is turned on? If so, how and why? I still don’t know why I do it myself. It was certainly not conscious in the beginning, but now I see it, and in the end I guess I have started videoblogging less, and talked less to the camera. I guess it’s all a process though :)

I like these glimpses into your life and reflections. Thank you.
